Our Practice
Regina McCollum-Sullivan, O.D.
Regina McCollum Sullivan believes optometry should return to days when patients were treated like one of the family. She opened Focal Point Optical 2 years ago on the grounds of Hopewell Baptist Church to reach out to the segment of the community that actually wanted to know the name of their Doctor, not get rushed through an exam, and establish a long-term health care relationship. She graduated from Southern College of Optometry about 8 years ago and enjoys improving the lives of her patients.

Mr. James Edwards, Optician
My experience in the optical business began 37 years ago in 1970 in Mansfield, Ohio working for Bausch & Lomb. At that time, I realized my love for the business and my wheels of motion began turning for my vision to open my own optical business some day.
In November 2002 on the grounds of Hopewell Baptist Church my vision became reality when I, together with my partner, Dr. Regina Sullivan opened the doors of Focal Point Optical.
We currently remain in business today doing what we love and what I consider the focus of my personal vision of helping patients with their vision problems.
My overall goal is to have all patients happy once they decide to grace our doors with their presence and be treated just like family.
We feel God has blessed us with being the "guardian of sight" that we may provide help to those who come to us with vision problems. That is why it is very important for us to give the best service to all our patients who come to us putting their trust and eye health in our hands.
